The waterfront cabin was luxurious, with a huge picture window and window seat to watch waves and seabirds. We saw a seal right outside the door. Will definitely return for a longer stay. Highly recommended.

Our recent stay at Tatapouri Bay was fantastic! We loved the unique glamping experience, with cozy tents right on the beach. The view of the ocean every morning was absolutely stunning. The tents were clean and comfortable, providing a peaceful atmosphere for a relaxing getaway. We especially enjoyed the hot spa right on the beach, it was such a treat! The cafe on the property made delicious coffee and we can't wait for them to expand it. The staff were relaxed and helpful, with Sharnie going above and beyond to make our week-long stay enjoyable. The complimentary earplugs were a thoughtful touch, as the sound of the ocean and logging trucks can be quite loud at night. Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as no power in the tents and a beach that wasn't ideal for swimming, we had a wonderful time at Tatapouri Bay. I highly recommend this unique beachfront experience.

The beachfront yurts offer stunning views of the sea and provide comfortable accommodations with nice furnishings. The beds are incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Additionally, having a coffee shop on site is convenient for grabbing a quick drink.

We had a fantastic stay at this awesome spot near the beach. The pods were unique and comfy, and the convenience of being right next to the Stingray tour was unbeatable. The amenities were top-notch too.

The hotel breakfast menu could use a little improvement, maybe by adding more variety or options.

Absolutely mind-blowing location tucked away in a quiet bay with stunning sunrise views. The glamping showers were jaw-droppingly lovely and the staff super friendly. The new and clean facilities, including the hot tub and sauna, were top-notch. Can't wait to come back to see the campsite once all the renovations are finished.

The double room at Tatapouri Bay was absolutely cozy and inviting. I loved waking up to the smell of freshly brewed coffee from the electric kettle and the lovely aroma of tea. The air conditioning kept me cool throughout the day, and the seating area was perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. The private bathroom with a shower provided complete convenience.

Personally, I would have preferred a kitchenette in the double room for more flexibility with meals.

We had a wonderful stay at Tatapouri Bay in Gisborne. The location was absolutely beautiful, with stunning views and the opportunity to see the sunrise from our cabin. It was the perfect balance of being away from the city, yet still close enough to easily access any supplies we needed. The cabin itself was clean and tidy, and we were impressed by the availability of wifi. The communal kitchen was also well-maintained, with enough refrigerators to store our raw materials. We also appreciated the variety in the types of accommodation available, as we were able to experience both a glamping tent and a log cabin during our stay. Tatapouri Bay provided a great experience and we will definitely be back.

our stay at tatapouri bay was even better than our previous stay in gisborne. the staff were so helpful, the location was incredibly serene, and the views were absolutely stunning. we loved being able to wake up right on the beach and enjoy a cup of coffee while admiring the beautiful surroundings. the eco-friendly vibe of the place added to our overall experience.

We had a delightful stay at Tatapouri Bay for a quick relaxing break. The cabin we booked was just what we expected - cozy and comfortable. Although the normal showers were being renovated, we were able to use the glamping showers which were absolutely lovely. The location of the hotel, nestled in a quiet bay, provided a peaceful escape from the city. The sunrise view was breathtaking and the staff were friendly and hardworking. The campsite is undergoing improvements, and we can't wait to come back in the summer to see the final result. The beach is just a stone's throw away, and the communal kitchen was well-maintained with plenty of refrigerators. The variety of accommodation options, including the bell tents, offered a unique and enjoyable experience. We highly recommend this hotel without a doubt.
